For me, cinnamon rolls is a sourdough recipe in which I use the natural sourdough starter in place of the traditional yeast. And this is one dessert recipe which is loved by all in my home. Because it is a fermented and pro gut recipe, I happily serve this as I know that it is a healthier version.

3.   The Chocolate Chip Cookie

This one needs no introduction for anyone. The most loved cookie in America and loved by all the children around the globe, The chocolate chip cookie had to be on my list too. It is simple to make and yes I love to eat it warm and little chewy. 

4.   Tiramisu

The Italian coffee flavoured dessert is a known name around the globe. Can be easily dished out at home, this dessert is something that is perfect to be served in a get together too.

5.   Mango Cheesecake

Mango Lovers are bound to love this simple and easy recipe. However, it is quite seasonal in nature in my kitchen too as I don’t like to use the tinned fruit purees at all. For my family, it has to be the fresh fruit and that too in-season fruit. So summers, we do make this dessert often and kids love it. In fact my kids madly love mangoes….and so do I. 

6.   Slutty brownies

These sinful small squares of baked chocolate delights are irresistible and lip smacking delights to serve along with ice cream or warm milk. Popular all across the globe these are sure to lift up anybody’s sad mood. 

7.   Doughnuts

These are ring-shaped fried dough desserts that I loved my kids around the globe. Beat a simple sugar glazed doughnut or a brightly dressed and iced doughnut, there is no end to your imagination while serving these warm delights.

And no, these are not just for kids adults love them too. I like to have a simple cinnamon sugar dressed doughnut with my hot coffee right in the morning. And my day is bound to be a super happy one.

 A yummy warm dessert is traditionally made in Britain’s homes since ages. This is a perfect dessert to be served in winters and I like to add a lot of nuts like almonds raisins and even walnuts to this recipe. 

10.  Trifles

Mainly made from fruit, sponge fingers soaked in wine and the custard to top it up trifles are fun to eat. This is again a recipe originated from England but taken over by all around the world with love. I usually soak up the sponge cake in fresh orange juice and use it in the recipe. 

11.  Darsaan

This is a yum and simple recipe which needs fried warm noodles topped with honey sesame seeds and served with vanilla ice-cream. This dessert has its origin in China although I am not sure of this information.

This is a great dessert for the family and I serve it in a common dish so its fun to dig in all together. The fight between both the kids to have the last bite is very common, whenever I make this one at home.

12.  Ice Creams

There is absolutely no need to explain this one at all. The entire world loves ice creams. And the kids especially love the I scream, You scream, we all scream the Ice cream. Now the reason I have mentioned it here is because I have tried my hand at making the homemade ice cream and it comes out really nice. 

Now when I make it at home it is bound to be the healthier version and hence my flavours are all fruit inspired and use fresh fruits to whip up the bowl of irresistible goodness.

13.  Cake Pops

Cake pops are made from cakes and look just like lollipops. These gained popularity recently in 21 century only and are loved why the kids and their moms too.

Moms love them also because they can roll up a new delight by using the leftover cake crumb and dress it freshly to woo the kids. 

14.  Marble cake

A cake with a blended and dual coloured appearance is a visual delight as well as a delicious treat. It is said to be originally made in Germany with vanilla and chocolate streaks. With time a lot of other versions using other colours like strawberry batter along with vanilla too.

This cake is exactly what it sounds like. It is baked by adding candied pineapple slices at the bottom of the cake pan. Then cake batter is added on top. When the cake is baked the pineapples are one the top giving a nice tartness and freshness to the cake.

This is a dessert which is enjoyed by children all over the world. It is basically ice cream sandwiched between 2 rectangle-shaped cookies or wafers. You can experiment with different types of cookies and ice cream flavours.

These are desserts that are loved by my children. And hence I usually keep them in my refrigerator.

43.  Kheer

An Indian pudding made from rice and milk and flavoured with saffron and green cardamoms is pure bliss. this is also a recipe that is part of many festivities in India too. 

44.  Halva

This is an amazing recipe and a part of a lot of religious activities in India. This is my son’s favourite and hence this is my go-to dessert often.

45.  Ras Malai

A lovely milk-based dessert that is a favourite at my place. This involves making balls from cottage cheese and boil them in milk. Best served chilled, this is what I buy often from traditional sweet shops and also make often in my kitchen too.

46.  Moong Dal Halwa

Again an Indian delight, this is an elaborate recipe and involves around 90 minutes of cooking time. And therefore I make it only for special occasions and festivities.

This tangled, crispy, hot jalebi is very popular in north India. These are a part of a lot of celebrations in India too. I like to make these with the sourdough starter however it is not necessary to make Jalebi. You can naturally fermented all-purpose flour and just fry these and dip in sugar syrup.

The spongy round delights are best served chilled. These are easy on stomach Indian desserts and one just can’t stop at eating one. I make these at home and my son loves these and wants these after every meal.

This is an Indian version of ice cream. Made purely from milk these traditional kulfis are can be made in a variety of flavours and served in a variety of ways too. 

I usually make mango kulfi, saffron and pistachio flavoured kulfi and also rose flavoured kulfi.

The Indian version of pancakes, made with pure ghee also called clarified butter, these taste divine and are awesome to serve hot in cold winter evenings.
